We are a faith-based preschool that follows the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. This approach creates a co-learning environment where teachers learn with the children and work in a lateral relationship rather than a hierarchical one.
Reggio Emilia also revolves around the children’s senses, relying on sight, sound, touch and even taste and smell to assist with learning. As a result, Reggio Emilia classrooms tend to look different than your average preschool with large common spaces, natural elements and lots of accessible and curiosity-sparking materials.
The Way is a Preschool and TK, serving children ages 3 to 5 years old. All students enrolled in The Way must be at least 3 years old.
Children must be fully toilet trained prior to enrollment at The Way Preschool. It is essential that they wear underwear, not pull-ups, when they begin our program. We accept children who still require the use of diapers during nap time; however, parents are required to provide these diapers to the school.
We believe that communication between home and school is extremely important. Which is why we use the brightwheel app as the main way to communicate with parents. Brightwheel is an all-in-one app where you can stay connected to your child throughout the day. Get real-time updates on your phone and tablet so you never miss a moment!

Immunization records are required prior to your child’s first day of attendance and need to be updated whenever your child receives a new immunization. Children who require updated immunizations after initial enrollment will be denied admittance to the center if proof of the updates are not submitted by the required due dates.
