Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? The Way Preschool is looking for a patient and compassionate Lead Teacher who has experience working with children ages 3 to 6 years old. The Way Preschool Teacher will help lead developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, spiritual and emotional development for students.
Teacher position
Responsibilities:
• Create engaging, age-appropriate, educational lessons
• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect
• Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe
• Teach children social emotional skills throughout the day
• Keep parents and families updated on their students’ daily activities and progress

Preferred Qualifications:
• Educational and/or experiential knowledge of Reggio Emilia educational philosophies.
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience working in a play-based environment
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Teaching experience
